1.Properties of Optical Brightener BBU
  • Appearance: Light yellow uniform powder
  • Color shade: Bluish
  • Ionicity: Anionic
  • Fluorescent intensity（equivalent to standard E370）100±3
  • Whiteness（Difference with the standard）:100±2
  • Moisture: ≤5%
  • Insoluble impurity in water≤0.5%
  • Fineness（Residue on 250µm sieve）≤10%

3. Feature:
  • Good water solubility, dissolve in 3-5 times boiling water by volume, 300g can be dissolved per liter of boiling water, 150 g can be dissolved per liter of cold water;
  • Good resistance to hard water and the whitening effect will not be affected by Ca+, Mg2+;
  • Resistant to peroxide bleach, including reductant（sodium hydrosulfite）bleaching agent;
  • Average acid resistance, PH＞7 is the optimum whitening condition;
  • Anionic, bluish color shade.

4. Common Application and Recommend Dosage
  • Used for whitening of cotton fiber and mucilage glue fiber;
  • Suitable for white discharge printing pulp;
  • Whitening during paper pulp;
  • Whitening during surface sizing procedure;
  • Whitening during the coating procedure.

Dip 60-100℃ temperature, residence time of 20-40 minutes, bath ratio: 1:20-30, dosage: 0.1-0.5%.

5. Packaging & Storage

25 kg cardboard drum or kraft bags.
It should be stored in a cool, dry, and ventilated place, and the storage period should not exceed two years.

6. Transportation and Safty

Avoid inversion, sunlight, moisture, and crash. Avoid damaging the package.
Non Hazardous. Stock as ordinary chemicals. Wear Protective goggles and gloves while using. And avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Soap clean if the skin is contaminated.
