Feature:
The Optical Brightener 199:1 can be dissolved in most organic solvents. It has two forms: powder and stable dispersing liquid. The dispersion liquid usually has an active composition of 10% and 20-22%. The chemical performance of 199:1 is stable and has good high-temperature resistance and light stability. High whiteness and fluorescence, excellent fastness to wash, light, and sublimation; It is one of the most popular whitening agents used in polyester fiber. Suitable for both high-temperature pad-dying and exhaust dying.

Common Application and Recommend Dosage
Optical Brightener 199:1 is mainly used for whitening polyester resin and fiber, triacetate fiber, and their blend. Suitable for pad-dyeing and exhaust dyeing methods.
- Pad-dyeing hot-melt method
Dosage: 1-5g/L
Process: two-bath two-pad(pick-up rate70%)→pre-baking(100℃) →baking(180℃～220℃，20-30s)
Note: Scouring is needed in case remain alkali of the fabrics.
- Exhaust dyeing method
Dosage: 0.1～0.8%（o.w.f）; Liquor rate: 1:10～30; PH:5.0～10.0(weak acid bath better)
Process: 120℃～130℃×30～60min→wash→bake→finalize
5. Packaging & Storage
Plastic drum, N.W. 25kg./ 30KGS, 60KGS, 125KGS, IBC tank, or as client request.
Shelf life: 6 months at room temperature. Stir evenly before use after 6 months.
6. Transportation and Safty
Avoid inversion, sunlight, moisture, and crash. Avoid damaging the package.
Non Hazardous. Stock as ordinary chemicals. Wear Protective goggles and gloves while using. And avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Soap clean if the skin is contaminated.
